So, it has definitely been a while, but since I enjoy so much reading
updates about other peoples lives on xanga, maybe someone will
appreciate mine
I'm at home right now, finally after 8 hours of work and voice practice
right after. It makes a long day when you start at 1 p.m.
But I love my job! I work for an 86 year old lady basically doing
whatever she would like me to do. Tonight I was helping her son
put together things for her tax returns. I think this job was
just what God had in mind for me -- not monotonous like nannying might
have been, and not too strict schedule-wise so I can still take voice
lessons and participate in church activities!
Tonight was exciting as I was in PJ's (the older lady I work for)
apartment when there was a downtown tornado warning...VERY unusual to
have downtown! But was made it even more interesting is the PJ
lives on the 46th floor of the Water Tower apartments right next to the
Hancock Tower. So, for about 20 minutes, I had to stay in her
kitchen, away from the windows so I wouldn't get hurt if anything blew
in
Well, this entry wasn't as long as I would have wanted, but I have a
bazillion things going on in my apartment, so it's kinda hard to stay
focused...
Later,
Heather
